Facing debt

There are many millions in the Western world,
Facing crushing debt at this time.
They have lost everything -
Homes, jobs, a future.
Governments strain to cushion the blow,
And ease the effects of the deepening recession.
It is serious and will debilitate families,
Who will pay the trillion pound mega-bill?
