Work is a cruel master,
Sucking life from body and soul.
Designed to keep you worthless,
And dependent on it’s gold.
Hard-wired into the system,
Its demands cannot be met.
No matter how many hours you spend,
To completion you will not get.
Nothing is ever good enough,
Your efforts torn to shreds.
Yet you’re expected to carry on,
